August 01, 2010

Here we are facing the start of August. Summer vacations are drawing to a close and we are looking at the start of school once again. Seems like the summers are getting shorter each year. We hope that you were able to get some vacation time in and that you created many fond memories for you and your families.

Even while our readers were enjoying their summers you all managed to check into, and for that dedication we say thank you!

Contest **** Contest**** Contest

Well we hate to admit that as webmasters we created a contest and had an 1d10T (idiot) error. Yes, that is right! I added a link that was incorrect, so for that reason, we are going to re-do the contest.

We know we have faithful readers to this newsletter, and with that in mind, we want to find out how quickly you can respond to our newsletters. This contest is simple, its easy and, yes, we will be able to track response time.

At the bottom of this newsletter you will find a link that says preview the video and send a card. The first person that gets two cards sent out to friends, family, business associate, church member, etc., will receive a special gift. The gift box a $50.00 value will contain 10 additional greeting cards that you can customize by adding your own photos, create your own greeting, change font, change colors and truly make it your own customized greeting card. You will be able to send them from your computer. The stamp and envelope is also included. After you have mailed out those 10 cards and you are happy with the system, you will be able to purchase more cards in groups of 10 for only $2.00 each including stamp and envelope. Yes, they print it, place it in an envelope and put it in the mail for you. If you are the winner we will notify you, and we will request your mailing address to send your gift to you.

The Contest starts now! Get Ready Get Set

Some humor to start the month off right.

    The Rescue

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out. When the Head Nurse Director became aware of Edna's heroic act she immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, for she now considered her to be mentally stable. When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news And bad news. The good news is you're being discharged; since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays a clearly sound mind. But, the bad news is, Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead." Edna replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry."
