The Everyday Wisdom Newsletter. 2016
May 02, 2016
May 1st, 2016
One can arguably say that the last few weeks of April was a flurry of activities for all of us. So the question now is: Are you ready for summer? Well, here it comes, lets have some fun, With all the outdoor activities we can enjoy, it’s going to be hard to pick our favorites. Take a vacation, send the kids off to camp, get the boat ready, plant your garden, get the pool cleaned. What ever your list includes, we want you to get up early and stay up late and enjoy every single second of summer.
At this point we are in the midst of a presidential election, Yes we are all tired of the 24 hour reporting on every word spoken by the candidates and the speculation of all the polls. ...Please do not write my name in I do not want the position. Regardless of who you think should be the next president, wouldn’t it be nice if they all decided to do what would be best for We the people? We have some very brilliant people that are well educated yet seem to lack common sense. We have a huge debt yet we keep sending money, people and resources to foreign countries. There is abuse in the Medicare/Medcade system yet everyone turns their focus to other things. We have thousands of able body people in the welfare system that need to working and providing for themselves. As a senior citizen I have seen so many changes in America and feel like we have failed the younger generations We have failed to pass the respect of our nation that we so cherished on to them. As an American citizen you have the privilege of voting for the candidate of your choice. We change the broken system by one vote at a time...yours counts.
