One special birthday or on a Christmas you opened a present and it was a model trail that you had wanted. From that point on it has always been a very fond memory. For many it started them on a hobby that would grow for the rest of their lives. In 1951 I received my very first electric train set. To this day it still works and brings back memories of my father. He took his time and helped me put it together and taught me how to operate it.
I will pass this piece of family history to the next generation and hope they enjoy it as much as I have.
