Lessons
'Some lessons have to be learned.'
I will be very careful not to blame
Anyone else today, even though it may
Mean I have to admit I did something wrong.
And if I feel afraid, I will remember
That I am not alone, my Lord is with me.
And there are others out there that are afraid just like me.
If I get left out of something
I’ll try not to get upset.
It doesn’t necessarily mean that I’m not liked.
And today I’ll make sure my family and friends
Know how much they mean to me.
I know if I give kindness it will come back to me.
And today, this day, I will learn to forgive,
For I know if I forgive, I will be forgiven too.
