Daily Inspiration
May 21

We look to our past and draw strength and inspiration from what our hero's were able to accomplish. On this special day we chose Amelia Earhart, she was an American aviation pioneer and author. Amelia Earhart was the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean On Jan 5 1939 she and her plane diapered near Howard Island. In a letter to her husband, written in case a dangerous flight proved to be her last, this brave spirit was evident. "Please know I am quite aware of the hazards," she said. "I want to do it because I want to do it. Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others."
