Essential Oils

Essential oils hold the mystical healing powers that we are just now trying to understand.
We know that for centuries people from around the world have been using different plants, herbs, and oils for medicinal purposes. Early cultures did not have all of the pharmaceutical companies to develop medicines and had to rely on what they had with the knowledge that was passed down from generation to generation.

History records the early Egyptians using various plants to create medicines, ointments, and aromatic oils. China has recorded information from the emperor Huang Ti dating back to 2697- 2597 B.C. He was credited with inventing many items to enhance the daily living conditions. His note collections from the Yellow Emperor's book of internal medicine contains information using more than 350 plants for their healing properties. Many old books and writings such as the Bible, Torah, Koran, and recorded writings from great philosophers also share information giving us an insight to the power that natural resources supply to assist us in our healing process.

With many people searching for alternative medicines and the lack of readily accessible information we have created this section to provide and share basic information on essential oils. While we are not trained medical professionals we have researched various sources to obtain this information. The information collected should not be used as the best or final answers to any medical condition. We do recommend that you consult with a physician regarding any questions regarding your health. Use this information as a basic starting point on your journey searching for answers to a healthier lifestyle.

While many people have had positive results using essential oils, no medical claims can be made regarding the benefits that you might receive from their use. It is our goal to provide a source of information that will be easy to understand and to apply into your lifestyle. If a few drops of essential oil helps you sleep a little better, eases tension, or just makes your home have a better aroma, then we feel like it is at least worth trying.
