Bottomless Tranquility

I rest in the state of silence
A question of what I glimpsed
Perceiveing the broad figure
My eyes tranquil yet rinsed
Defining the adherence
Aware of desired view
Deeming that the stature
Exceeded nine foot two
I remain a stagnant shape
Still gazing so far left
Distinguishing the likeness
Was dark with bursting depth
Waiting well bemused
Yet still we never met
At last to understand
It be merely my silhouette
