Hard Times
Always trying to get ahead
Only to feel left behind
Living paycheck to paycheck
Success is to hard to find
Struggling just to make ends meet
Never to taste the victory only defeat
Wisdom where are you in my time of distress
Speak to me Lord help me out of this mess
Mortgage, insurance, what will we eat
Need to pay my PG&E to keep on the heat
Whats next in this time of recession
Lord I'm nothing without you, here's my confession
My wife looks to me to be our strength
Lord I'm willing to survive at any length
So give me strength with the daily grind
Show me how to be positve and let my light shine.
