Will the leaves ever stop falling?
There are too many leaves to count,
Yet more leaves are incessantly falling.
Everyday the walkway to my front door is covered
With leaves from trees that are shedding their layers.
Everyday I sweep the leaves aside,
But there is no where for them to go.
Everyday I shuffle through the leaves that blanket the earth.
The leaves keep falling.
Everyday the height of the leaves rise,
And since there is no where for them to go,
The pile of leaves soon covers my bedroom window.
Enveloped by the leaves, my home is now one with nature.
