My Treasure For Mom

So I look back on all these years now
To see how far I've come and grown,
I take a trip down memory lane everyday,
And what I seen has shown

I now know That every step I've taken,
You have been there by my side everyday
From infancy to adulthood,
We have stood the test of time.

You also cradled me and nurtured me all the time,
Through all these many years;
You also held me and did comfort me,
Through happiness and even through tears.

You also picked me up when I would fall down,
You would dust me off and then,
Encourage me to get back on
That horse and go ride again.

You are constant care and loving,
And your warm inviting heart,
Has always been a treasure that
I knew would never depart.

If I could be "just half" the person
You have been to me
Then you have taught me well dear mom thank you,
For in my heart I now see

A woman whose most gentle soul,
Embraces me each day ...
A woman whom I dearly love everyday and forever,
Much more than words could ever say.
