Our Black and White Love
Everyone reads books.
But it's a narrow minded world.
I have bubbly blue eyes.
You have browns that mixed and swirled.
Even our skin comes in different dyes.
Difference is the key.
What you grew up on.
What I grew up to be.
Both of us, together right one cue.
Done the right and have done the wrong.
Through glory and strife.
We both stand strong.
No matter who throws the knife.
Everyone gives us looks.
Everyone disagrees with our love.
But everyone reads us as books.
And our black and white love will rise above.
