Take Comfort In Death

When a loved one leaves the earth,
It seems as though we'll never again be full of mirth.
I know you're a good, believing person,
Someone would have to teach you
So your faith wouldn't fail or worsen.
Your mother must have taught you well,
For at sharing God's word, you do excel.
When we think of heaven ,the picture that is drawn
Is one of streets of incredible, great gold
Where angels welcome the believing into its protective fold.

For one who accepts salvation,
Their long anticipated celebration
Is near.
Though we wish for them to be with us,
Remember that they are in heaven and not shed a single tear!
Heaven has buildings of pearl and emeralds thus
There is no pain.
Where God, our Father, did and always will reign,
In the middle of heaven is New Jerusalem .
Around it there are some trees, like elm.

Your beloved mother has said goodbye,
To people from the past.
To her, long lost friends will fly ,
Your mother will be quenched at last.

We long for those whom on this earth are missing,
Know the people in heaven are never reminiscing.
For heaven is the picture of glee,
A place for believers
This, in the Bible, is a guarantee.
Though it is hard to live without her,
You can take comfort in the gates of heaven open, waiting for her to enter.
We yearn for heaven for it is perfection,
To live forever under Gods protection

To help drive the emptiness out,
Remember she is in heaven, there is no doubt.
Remember the times of long ago.
Remember when upon the ground was dunes of snow.
Remember the loving heart-to-heart chats.
Remember that in heaven, there are no combats.
Remember that distance makes the heart grow fonder.
Remember that the Father loves everyone, there is nothing to ponder.
Remember earth is a test.
Remember heaven is the dessert, after the meal, it is the best.
