The Boat Is Me
Tears of sorrow
Tears of pain
I've cried mean
Ocean sail away
As I travel along
Alone and searching
With the wind at my back
And the sun in my eyes
My sails have turned
And fallen apart
Mend me
Repair me
I'll travel on the journey
For land never seems to end
But I can smell it in the air
And the birds that sing
I know my journeys about to end
I can see an island
Bright and clear
If I could only
Touch it and hold it dear.
