The Last Days

Everyday has been leading up to it
It's a small world after all
The Rose That Grew From Concrete
Has begun to wither and fall

Spoiled by its hosts
In a state of relentless iniquity
We've become indecorously content
To an impious tyranny

We are infidels!
An insidious race, forgetful of why we're here
In the battle of Good and Evil
It's the worst that's persevered

So behold, and see for yourself
But be open minded to the truth
Magnanimity is just another word
To define perpetual youth

Take into consideration the times
And approbate what's already there
And you'll see all hope is gone
As posterity is lost in despair

Nobody's there to listen
God refuses to help us now
We must choose to make a change for ourselves
If only we knew how….

These are the last days
The beginning of the end
