The Picture
She handed me a paper with a grin on her face It was colored on messily with no empty space She was my little sister who drew a picture for me She wanted me to love it but what is was was a mystery But I told her right away "it's the prettiest picture I've ever seen The colors look so perfect blue, pink, and green!" As I said those words her smile turned to a frown She told me quite sadly "I was holding it upside down" I told her it didn't matter I still love it anyway It was a gift from my baby sister to brighten up my day
