To My Friend

I've never had a friend
quite like you,
with a sympathetic ear
a true opinion.
You provide me with
company and merriment,
You help me to feel
good about myself,
You listen to me with interest
and converse with me
with nothing but kindness.
You lift me up when I am down,
You tell me I'm an amazing person
when I'm feeling insecure about myself.
You understand my feelings
and support my goals and dreams.

So, my dear friend-
I just wanted to thank you
for all you say and do
and to let you know
how happy I am
to have such a special
friend like you...
