Unfaithful

You've probably seen me a time or two
In a so-called friend; you have a few
Or maybe a boyfriend who's just playing the part
My name is unfaithful and I will break your heart.

I rip families to pieces, with pleasure and ease
I lie in the smile of a scandalous tease
I have no regret, restrictions, or respect
I'm fast to occur and hard to detect

I'll kiss you slowly while holding you tight
And make love to another the very next night
No shame in tearing a beautiful creature apart
My name is unfaithful and I will break your heart

I'm the forbidden fruit you must never eat
I'm the seductive manipulator and the handsome cheat
I'll twist your words every time you speak
I play on vulnerability and attack when you're weak

Pleasure for the moment, then pours down the rain
Now you must suffer and cause everyone pain
A double-edged sword you can't seem to outsmart
My name is unfaithful and I will break your heart
