I have a step son that cause me and my wife a lot of grief. I know a little of what you are talking about. My step son got in trouble with the law, but only for days, not a year.

While we can't control their life, they can turn their life around. My step son, Chris, has done that. It is possible.

Your story just made my morning so much brighter! Thank you Kathryn, for confirming what my Pastor has been telling me about a family member.We need to let go and let God! That does not mean we stop loving them...on the contrary, we must love them enough to stand strong in our trust in God. You and your Daughters will be in my prayers...they will be just fine with a great Mom like you and God in their corner!
